Hey guys, it's been a while since I blogged. My last post was in 2016 and a lot has happened since. Hope everyone is staying safe with everything that is going on. Since we are spending more time at home I decided to start blogging again and built me a little vanity. 

Since my kids like to get into my stuff I usually keep my makeup and skincare products inside my little walk-in closet on a dresser but I have so much makeup and wanted to get it more organize. This vanity is great because I can keep everything neat in the drawers. 

My vanity is inspired by the famous IKEA Alex Drawer Units and Linnmon tabletop. It’s been very popular DIY vanity but since I don't live near an IKEA and their shipping can be a little crazy, as you can see on the picture above, I did my research on similar drawers and tabletop. Plus I didn't want to wait.

I was able to find similar Alex Drawers from Michael's. They retail at $109.99 but I got them for about $70 each. They do get lower in prices but I didn't want to take the chances because they are always out of stock. I had to kept checking the website constantly. Right now they are on clearance for $39.97! You can call your local Michael's to see if they some left or kept checking online.
